What surrounds it is mostly parking and new development, not a food neighbourhood. The good news: Inglewood itself has excellent soul food and Mexican restaurants, Culver City is 10 minutes away, and downtown LA is 20 minutes on a good day. This guide covers your real options.
SoFi Stadium — Getting Your Bearings
SoFi is at 1001 Stadium Dr, Inglewood, CA. By Metro, take the C Line (Green) to Hawthorne/Lennox Station, then transfer to the K Line (Crenshaw/LAX) to Kia Forum/SoFi Stadium Station — journey from downtown LA takes 45–60 minutes. By rideshare, expect 20 minutes from downtown outside of peak traffic. Driving and parking is possible but expect $50 parking fees and 45-minute exits.

Inglewood is a historically Black neighbourhood with a deep soul food and Caribbean food tradition. The restaurants here are authentic, affordable, and largely unknown to out-of-town visitors.
Dulan’s Soul Food Kitchen
Dulan’s has been feeding Inglewood for over 30 years and is the definitive soul food restaurant near SoFi Stadium. The fried catfish is perfectly seasoned with a crispy crust; the oxtail is fall-off-the-bone tender. Order the three-item plate with cornbread and two sides — around $18 and more food than you think. Extremely popular on match days so arrive early or call ahead. This is the real Inglewood experience, not the stadium food court.

A community anchor in Inglewood — excellent brunch food, Black-owned, very welcoming. The chicken and waffles are the thing to order: perfectly fried chicken thigh on a crispy waffle with hot honey. Good for a pre-match morning meal if you arrive in Inglewood early. Also serves Ethiopian-style coffee ceremony — strong, ceremonial, worth trying. The Inglewood location fills up by 11am on weekends.

Leimert Park is one of LA’s cultural anchors for African American art and food — 5 minutes north of SoFi by Uber, or a short Metro ride.
Hot and Cool Cafe
A beloved community café in the heart of Leimert Park, serving breakfast and lunch through the afternoon. Low-key, welcoming, with local art on the walls. Good for a morning meal before heading to the stadium — no rush, reasonable prices, good coffee. Run by and for the local community. Worth visiting even if you’re not going to the match.

Manuela — Culver City / Hauser & Wirth
Inside the Hauser & Wirth gallery complex in Culver City — California farm-to-table cooking, ingredients sourced from their own farm. The wood-fire roasted chicken is excellent. Beautiful outdoor seating. This is the pre-match option if you want to eat really well and have a 2-hour window. Prices are moderate for the quality. Also worth knowing: the art inside is free to see before or after lunch.

Sang Yoon’s Southeast Asian restaurant in Culver City — been around long enough to be trusted, creative without being precious. The dan dan noodles and laksa are the standout dishes. Good for a pre-match group dinner. Reservations recommended for groups of 4+.

Expect options from local taco, burger, and BBQ vendors alongside the usual stadium chains. Budget $20–$35 for a full meal inside. It’s not your priority, but it’s better than most stadiums.
Grand Central Market — Downtown LA (20 min)
If you’re coming from downtown LA before the match or heading there after, Grand Central Market on Broadway is one of the great food halls in the US. Housed in a 1917 building, it has 30+ vendors selling everything from Salvadoran pupusas to Thai curries to Jewish-style deli sandwiches. Open from 8am. Best for a lunch stop before afternoon matches.
